Overnight Care - Active and non Active
Green Community Care’s fundamental goal is to provide support and services that meet the needs of our valued NDIS participants. As we grow older, it becomes more challenging to manage our care, particularly during the night. Many of us lose sleep or wake up more frequently than others at night, thus losing confidence to stay alone at home. Green Community Care’s overnight care and support program are always there for such difficulties.
Our overnight care is a valuable nursing service that provides all the necessary needs and requirements throughout the night. Simultaneously, this program presents much-needed rest and comfort to the participant’s primary caregivers and family members.
Green Community Care’s overnight care support comprises two different services: Active and Non-active overnight care.
Active Support
Active overnight care support encompasses our support workers with overnight shifts where they stay with our participants throughout the night. During this period, our caregivers are available at all times to provide support and administer specific scheduled tasks such as:
- Administering medication
- Managing participant comfortability
- Assisting participants who are on ventilators and require suctioning
- Assistance with personal care
Non-active Support
Our non-active overnight support allows our support workers to sleep; however, they will be available to provide support whenever required or requested. During this service, our caregivers would perform occasional tasks such as toileting, repositioning, etc.
